There are several online sites from which you can now buy bulk flax seed. Fifty pound bags are surprisingly popular. Hopefully this means flaxseed is becoming increasingly popular as a staple in industrial kitchens, bakeries and school and office cafeterias.It would have been inconceivable to me a few years ago to imagine that Amazon (the big online book company) would one day be flogging 50 pound bags of flaxseed.
But it's true you can even buy flaxseed on Amazon now. The bag shown here costs $89 plus only $5 for shipping anywhere in the U.S. There is no gift wrapping option available for this purchase ;-). If anyone knows some other alternatives to high quality flaxseed sold in bulk online, please leave your comment below.
